[Qgis-user] qgis and saga (future) integration hypothesis

Well, SAGA is quite general porpuse too, through various low level modules
for vector and grid management.
I add that it has geostatistical analysis tools, imagery classification,
various algorithms for simulations (like genetic algorithms), etc.
