I'm pleased to report success; it took pulling the 'real' map URL out
of the saved KML file and decoding the HTML entities (as per
http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/maps/thread?tid=3b110e6877a935ce&hl=en)
to get at the data...but that link finally led to usable map
information, which I'm able to import just fine (into Pan). Converting
to a Shapefile also works perfectly for importing into Kore, so thank
you for your help, Zachary and Jamie!
