[Qgis-user] map composer

Dear qGIS-users,
 
I am making my first maps with qGIS 1.0.1 (that's after upgrading from .0.9.x); working under Windows XP - SP3
 
The print (or map) composer is indeed great and much improved - though one thing annoys me: How can I actually get a fresh new sheet ? that is to start afresh after some trials ...
 
Actually, I cant get rid of some traces of frames of items I moved, or taken away (see pic attached - if you get that through).  Any suggestion would be most welcome.
