[Qgis-user] GdalTools plugin on win xp

I have problems to get the GdalTools plugin working on win XP, QGIS 1.4.

First I had QGIS 1.4 from standalone installer which resulted in "*The
process failed to start. Either the invoked program is missing, or you may
have insufficient permissions to invoke the program*"

Therefore I tried the OsGeo4W advanced installer. Besides from the
pre-checked libraries I (iteratively) added all the other gdal libraries,
copied libtiff.dll to /windows/system32/ and finally called the gdal-16.bat.
Still not working, instead I get another message:
"*Can't load requested DLL:
C:\prog\OSGeo4W\apps\gdal-16\bin\gdalplugins\gdal_ECW_JP2ECW.dll 126: The
specified module could not be found.*" (Although the .dll file is there, in
the correct folder.)

 Any ideas?
