Agus,

Thanks for testing the installer and highlighting the issues. We will look
into these and will release an updated version once we fix them.

Regards
Kumaran

Subject: [Qgis-user] Re: QGIS1.3.0 Mimas With GRASS - Windows Installer

Kumaran,

As far as I've been able to test, the version of qgis 1.4.0 from the
kcubeconsulting server has problems with the following plugins:
DEM relief (gdal missing)
GDALtools (osgeo missing)
RasterCalc (pyparsing missing)
Scattergram (WQWt5 missing)

I've solved the problem with pyparsing by
downloading the zip file
http://sourceforge.net/projects/pyparsing/files/pyparsing/pyparsing-1.5.2/py
parsing-1.5.2.zip/download
and copying
pyparsing.py
pyparsing_py3.py
to
C:\QuantumGIS\apps\Python25\Lib\site-packages
as told by Alexander here:
http://n2.nabble.com/RasterCalc-tt4438577.html#none

but the missing osgeo.gdal is a problem for RasterCalc as well.

Perhaps you could add the necessary support for these important packages?
I know these issues can be solved by the osgeo4w installer, but an
standalone
installer makes things a lot easier for a course.

Thanks
Agus
