[Qgis-user] IR-airphoto and 3D

just to be sure, what kind of result are you hoping? a DEM map with the
altitude for each pixel, or just to watch your area in 3D?

if you just want to wach your area in 3d, you can take a look at
http://grass.osgeo.org/wiki/Stereo_anaglyphs! just consider that your 2
IR-photo are the result of step 1 to 3 ...

so you will have to do:

   1. "ppmtorgb3 left.ppm"
   → Creates from left.ppm the files left.red, left.green, left.blue
   2. "ppmtorgb3 right.ppm"
   → Creates from right.ppm the files right.red, right.green, right.blue
   3. "rgb3toppm left.red right.green right.blue > myfirstanaglyph.ppm"
   4. Put on the red-green glasses and view myfirstanagly.ppm with your
   favourite image viewer.

(ppmtorgb3 is part of the netpbm software http://netpbm.sourceforge.net/)
