[Qgis-user] plugin for split polygonal features along vertical or horizontal lines

Hi,

I'm interested in to realising a Qgis plugin which could work similarly to
the "Split Selected Features" editing function, but just along vertical or
horizontal lines.

This means that using this plugin I would to like split a polygonal feature
in two polygonal features sharing an horizontal or vertical line.

Do you have some suggestion or idea about the realization of a such plugin?
