[Qgis-user] overview in the composer

I think that what Dario has in mind is a map object of the canvas with a 
different layer selection than his main map object which, if I'm 
correct, is actually not possible dynamically in QGIS. What I usually do 
is importing a raster of a previous composition to serve as the light 
overview.
