[Qgis-user] Printing with Openlayers plugin

Hi again,
Does anyone have any tricks for printing with the openlayers plugin (or
an alternative to it)?

When I try printing with a Google satellite layer it simply isn't
printed, although I think this may be related to the problem of needed
to force a redraw after zooming.
When I try with (I think) a Google maps layer, it prints, but is very
pixellated.  I guess this is because it only downloads a level of detail
to match the screen resolution, but typically more detail is needed for
printing.
Do I instead need to zoom in and use the Google layer plugin (or
whatever) to copy it in as a number of new layers?
