[Qgis-user] postgis and custom CRS

Oops... it seems "it should" and it does indeed! Great. Sorry for the confusion.

So qgis gets the CRS id from the layer, and the definition from its own crs db, if the id is not found, then it's unknown, right?

It probably should.

The default behaviour in QGIS is to assume.
I've set mine so that if it doesn't know, it asks (have a look under settings).
