[Qgis-user] EPSG:40001 doesn't work (while custom CRS works)

I've noticed that using an EPSG:40001 CRS doesn't work for me on 1.7.3
(from osgeo4w), while everything works fine if I define a Custom CRS with
the same parameters
(+proj=tmerc +lat_0=0 +lon_0=15 +k=0.9996 +x_0=2520000 +y_0=0 +ellps=intl
+units=m +towgs84=-104.1,-49.1,-9.9,0.971,-2.917,0.714,-11.68 +no_defs).
Maybe problems in the CRS db?

(PS: I see that in the newest dev releases EPSG:40001 has disappeared. I
agree with that choice ;)
