Exactly: users, it's time for you all (or at least those who work with QGIS) to stand
up and help the development team finding new developers and maintainers of various
aspects of the infrastructure. QGIS has grown a lot in terms of lines of code,
functions, power, infrastructure complexity, requests from users, and the team is
essentially the same. We need more people to keep on progressing at an increasing speed.
There are many different ways of helping, please consider them: it is in our communal
interest (yes, also yours).
