[Qgis-user] Mapping in the southern hemisphere

Hi John,
Thank you for the reply.
Unless I am mistaken 35S is very much in the northern hemisphere. Both
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:LA2-Africa-UTM-zones.png and
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Utm-zones.jpg indicates to me that 35S is
in the northern hemisphere and also my GPS which I trust more than wikipedia
indicated that my UTM zone and band were 35K. Now personally I always take
wikipedia with a pinch of salt but I am sure this is accurate information.
