[Qgis-user] Modifier Key to activate Mouse Panning/Zooming of Map Canvas

 Hi,

 Given that one can already pan and zoom with the middle mouse 
 button/wheel I am not sure what the modifier keys would add to 
 usability, rather than making things more complicated (collisions with 
 selector tools and with shortcuts - complications with different 
 OS/platforms)?
