[Qgis-user] Qgis and Google

Assuming that your project CRS is correct, then It's probably an interaction effect.

The way it was explained to me is that the google bits are tiled images that are designed to be viewed at predetermined scales. 

QGIS will let you view them
at scales other than this, and when that happens you get an offset. 

Usually when I first load up a google layer the offset is bad, but if I zoom out or in a bit it usually gets it's act together until I do something odd like zoom right in. 

BTW the OpenLayers
Plugin is much better supported.
