Hi Holger,
You can run Apache on Windows Server 2008. However a quick search
implies that qgis server and IIS (the built in windows server 2008 web
server) probably won't get along:
http://www.townshipgis.org/project-background/open-web-mapping/qgis-server
"It is not clear yet whether machines running the IIS (Windows) web
servers will one day be able to run QGIS Server."

Though its unclear how old that document is.

Hello,

is it possible to run the qgis-server with a windows server 2008 instead
of apache?

Holger
