[Qgis-user] Openlayers plugin on Mac

I have seen the bug report on this issue but have not seen very much aka any discussion on the mail list.

I have been using the Openlayers plugin along with the various trunk versions of QGIS on my mac for a couple of years. Since the update to 1.9 (and maybe 1.8) the openlayers now causes QGIS to crash. I have tried various projection settings but none of these seem to help. I have deleted all the plugins from the python folder and reinstalled, again no effect.

Any suggestions or is there something in the works that I have not seen the discussions on.
