Hello,

I´m using QGIS 1.6 on several tablets and I didn´t found any "expression-based-labeling" in 1.7.4 also. Where can I find this feature?

Sure if you running the latest dev version of QGIS you can use expression based labelling http://woostuff.wordpress.com/2011/10/27/expression-based-labeling/

I would like to digitize polygons and label them with their area, but it isn´t possible to select the area of a polygon as the label-field. I could open the Attribute Table and add a new column and calculate the area,  but it should be displayed immediately after finishing digitizing, ist this possible?
