It seems like you used AsGml to get a geometry in GML format, but
that's not like a "GML layer" which you can load in QGIS.

You should be able to export your data into shapefiles and other
formats using ogr2ogr (gdal >= 1.8):

But if gdal can read MS SQL server data, I think QGIS sholud be able
to load it as well.

I have no experience using MS server so I don't know about the details.
