[Qgis-user] Animate rows

Hello,

I have a Problem using "Animate Rows" within the "mmqgis" plugin. I always get this Error:

"... python/plugins\mmqgis\mmqgis_library.py", line 323, in mmqgis_animate_rows
    templayers[layer_index].setRenderer(layers[layer_index].renderer().clone())
AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'clone' ..."

I´m using a test-point-layer with only "id" (integer") and a date as attributes.

Is there a bug in the plugin?

I´m using QGIS 1.8
