[Qgis-user] Corrupted Files

Why this problem does not appear all the time ? 
Maybe does the problem come from a *.prj file that is shipped with all
shapefiles but, normally, this file is not big enough to contain at least
1891 lines. 

Have you tried to open the error file at line 1891 and column 27 ? You can
do this if you are using Vim with 'vim +1891 yourFileHere' and see the
problem. Otherwise, you can open your file with Notepad. 

Other thing, I think it's not a good idea to switch from one qgis version to
another but you probably have good reasons to do so.
