[Qgis-user] API docs tarball?

Hello. I would like to have an offlist copy of the QGIS API i.e. the
one available online at http://qgis.org/api/. However I do not find
any dowloadable file for this at:
http://qgis.org/en/site/forusers/download.html

Please can anyone indicate where I can get a tarball of the archives?
Or if one is not put up for download, could the website people put
this up for download?
