Has anyone encountered a "No common CRS for selected layers" error before when trying to load their QGIS project as a WMS layer via QGIS server?

I have QGIS installed on Windows 7 and QGIS Server on Ubuntu. The getcapabilities indicates that QGIS Server is working but it is not showing the single layer in the QGIS project I copied over. My project has 1 layer (shapefile) and both the layer and project projections are set to EPSG 27700. Paths have been set to absolute.

In QGIS when I try to load this as a WMS layer, it says that there is "No common CRS for selected layers." I can see the project but not the layer. Can anyone help?

Thank you.
Justin
