[Qgis-user] assign a specified google earth icon to points in a shapefile while saving a SHAPEFILE to kml

is there a way to assign a specified google earth icon to points in a shapefile while saving a SHAPEFILE to kml?
I mean: can I assign a column in a table that google earth can read as "icon"? (without passing through http://www.earthpoint.us/ExcelToKml.aspx)
