[Qgis-user] CSV Export broken in QGIS 1.8.0 for (at least) Debian Wheezy

Each time I try to "Save as.." a vector layer to a CSV file I get an
(uninformative) error:


Export to vector file failed.

Error: creation of data source failed (OGR error:)



This worked fine in QGIS 1.7


Any ideas?
