Thanks for the info. Are there any plans for this?

 

Looks like I mingled QGIS labels with Mapguide labeling..

Hey,

 

HTML based labels aren't supported yet.  What you see in the dialog is a
render preview using a QLabel which can handle HTML.  I need to change that
to just use plain text rather then rich text.

 

It was never supported in any older versions.

As I remember this used to work in 1.x versions.
