[Qgis-user] Error loading SIP module.

Thanks for your help, got it working. Just to follow up, i removed anything
pertaining to sip in /usr/local/lib/python2.7/site-packages and
re-installed python-sip using apt-get:

rm -i  /usr/local/lib/python2.7/site-packages/sip*
apt-get remove python-sip
apt-get install python-sip
