[Qgis-user] Selecting individual polygons from multiple duplicates

(I'm guessing) Try opening the attribute table (because you only have 9 
polys), selecting them there, and deleting them.
This tactic works in another proprietary product, so hopefully QGIS 
developers thought of that method  too.....
