[Qgis-user] Street Map

thanks a lot guys 
I'm trying to use mapnik and quantumnik to do it and I have found many styles for the shp (I have tuned it)
However, the problem arises for me to create a list of street names.
I need to create a grid with letters and numbers on this and identify ways as the example attached.
Do you konw how to do this?
when ... if I'll can finish successfully, I'll post a user guide of everything.

You could also download OSM data in Shapfile format, e.g. from Geofabrik website :
http://www.geofabrik.de/data/shapefiles.html

Load the layers in QGIS, then style them, or get some available in some shared repositories, e.g.
https://github.com/3liz/osm-in-qgis

You can then tune the styles (and contribute back if you want)
