[Qgis-user] layer transparency vs. icon transparency

 working on this qgis2leaf plugin I've came across a different definition of
    transparency and alpha in a layer transparency and a symbol alpha
value. I
    understand that this transparency and alpha are not the same but it
    describes somehow the same.
    I compare those values and for a normal feature in QGIS:
    layer.layerTransparency()
    gives:
    0
    layer.rendererV2().symbol().alpha()
    gives:
    1.0
    I would like to get both "0" as the symbol is clearly visible and would
lik
    to suggest to change layer.rendererV2().symbol().alpha() to
    layer.rendererV2().symbol().transparency()
    In the dialog to change the smybol it also give the description
    transparency in both the layer transparency as well as symbol
    transparency...
    where can I address this?

Best regards,
Riccardo
