[Qgis-user] TIF compatibility

Hi,
I'm running QGIS 2.2 and I'd like to load an image downloaded from here 
[1] (e.g. A4B3) in TIF format.
I can see the image in Explorer in the correct way but, when I try to 
load it in Qgis, the process is slow and finally only a part of the 
image is shown, as if there is some sort of mask inside.
Someone experienced a problem like mine?
Now I solved importing the image in GIMP and save it again ... but I 
know that it is not a good job!
