[Qgis-user] Help QGIS main window higer than the disply (1200 x 1920)

I have Ubuntu 14.04LTS and QGIS 2.4. I have not used QGIs for a long time
and have problems to find thing, but this I a real big problem!!!!!

If i move the QGIS main-window it resize and get  bigger/higher than 1200
pixel (appoximaltly 1500 pixel high), and I can't  make it smaller :(

I have 4 workspaces in the desktop-view, so I can see the hight is about
1500 pixel, in the overwiew then all workspace are shown.

I have tried to turn off 'sticky edge'  , but it does not help. Also switch
to only one  workspace, but still a ploblem. The Mainwodow are higer than
the display.

I also have Nvidias propretarian drivers..

During 12.04 was QGIS unstable very stable, but I have before this problem
also have crashes of QGIS. Aren't unstable, so stable anymore?
