[Qgis-user] ODBC error connecting an external host - Qgis works only in localhost with any ODBC source (Mysql, MSSQL, Filemaker 13)

Hi all

QGIS 2.x has GDAL/OGR driver inside and it's possible to connect ODBC source.
This is very useful to connect big external data with your local map.

ODBC driver in GDAL/OGR 1.11 works with localhost database and external IP host with any databases. I've tested Mysql, MSSQL, Filemaker 13.

QGIS 2.x is based on GDAL/OGR but it works only with localhost ODBC source. If you enter an external IP address you have always connection error.

GDAL/OGR driver works but QGIS 2.x has an error only for external IP.

Is it possible to fix this error inside QGIS 2.x ?
