Hi Paolo

Running QGIS Wien 2.8.2 on Win 7 32

Testing OTB Vector Data Manipulation - Concatenate

Dialogue opens, can select layers (2 x postgis tables) to concatenate, click RUN and process starts and then freezes. OTBxxxxxx.exe runs in task manager consuming a significant amount of memory then fails with error:

Oooops! The following output layers could not be open
Concatenated VectorData: C:\Users\MCDONA~1\AppData\Local\Temp\processing\f20a3117d3b14d3f806ca03ba62026e6\out.shp
The above files could not be opened, which probably indicates that they were not correctly produced by the executed algorithm
Checking the log information might help you see why those layers were not created as expected

Running again with 2 shapefiles and process completes successfully.

Does that help?
Ross

Subject: [Qgis-user] OTB on win: please check

Hi all,
could some Windows user please check whether OTB is installed and working under Processing, both on 32 and 64 bit standalone installations? You do not need to do anything special, just run an alg whatsoever (e.g. segmentation meanshift on a small ortophoto).
Thanks.
