[Qgis-user] Question about QGIS training material

Hallo,

For a GQIS-training I am considering to use the QGIS training manual and associated exercises. I downloaded the file with exercises (training_manual_exercise_data.zip) and gave the unpacked material a place. However, if I open the project file example.qgs, I get the window shown below, no matter whether I open the project in version 2.2 or 1.8. Amongst the shapes listed in the window below are also shapes which are not present in the directory exercise_data. I would expect that such a standard dataset would work without any problem, however it seems not so. What can be wrong?
