[Qgis-user] matching .prj (ArcGIS) with CRS in QGIS

The difference between the 2 projections you mentioned is that the first,
"Kertau (RSO)/RSO Malaya (m) (EPSG:3168)" uses meters as the units and the
second, "Kertau (RSO)/RSO Malaya (ch) (EPSG:3167)" uses chains.  you can
tell from the "(m)" and "(ch)" at the end.The .prj specifies the Units as
meters, So I think if you specify the projection as EPSG:3168 that should
work.
