[Qgis-user] Adding a Mac to a group of PCs

Your answer encourages me to try the PostGIS option - it obviously has some
other useful advantages. But your reply also made me realize that the
problem is really that much of the data I have is on another network share
- hence the problem with the paths. I should simply move the data so that
everything is on the same share and and then, relative paths will solve the
problem.
Again, thank you for a very helpful answer.
