[Qgis-user] Query in QGIS

Hi, 
List of things to check: 
Are long/lat inverted? 
Is your other map in the same CRS? (Coordinate Reference system?) If not, it can be fixed by making sure you have "CRS on the fly reprojection" activated in the options.  Also make sure that QGIS "ask" for new layers that have no CRS).

So far i have converted that excel file in to tab limited file. Then i added one layer in QGIS Desktop and that shows all 20 hospitals as points. But these 20 points are showing in open area, not in the district map  boundary. How do i put image file and then show 20 hospital in that map. Any idea will be grateful. Thanks and Regards Manoj
