[Qgis-user] avl2qml.py python script

HI i have been trying to get the above script running for  a couple of days
but keep getting a lot of errors.
I am new to python so don't know if it is me or the script.
The aim of it is to convert argis 3  legend files to qgis files

has anyone got this working, or have a workaround for converting avl files?
