Hi,
If a module or a plugin uses multiprocessors it will do so.  There is no general "use multiprocessors" setting.

I have found the click for use more processor cores for rendering,
but how can QGIS use more processor cores for geoprocessing? My Mac use only one of four cores :-(

Best regards
