[Qgis-user] plugin error messages on startup

continuing the above post......

I'm noticing that the Query console often gives me bad Python syntax errors
when using standard Boolean query buttons as I follow published v 2.18
tutorials step-by-step. That may be unrelated but I'm too much of a noob to
know if that is coincidental or not.
