Hi Wolfgang,

You can file a bug here:
https://issues.qgis.org/projects/qgis/issues/

It will be good if you could attach an example nc file.

Could you try this:

- Open Osgeo4W shell
- type: gdalinfo *path\to\your\netcdf.nc <http://netcdf.nc>*


See if gdal can read your nc file.
