[Qgis-user] Win7 with Roaming App Data and Profile Redirection - [ERROR] Can not make qgis.db private copy

Hi Heather,

Thank you very much for the suggestion - I was able to test this today, and
confirmed the software will start. I have an actual user who will do some
more thorough testing, but we're already making progress.

In my case, the profile directory is not secretly still there, so I wonder
if perhaps QGIS is unable to resolve a UNC path
<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Path_(computing)#Uniform_Naming_Convention>
when expecting a local app data location (in this case
\\servername\dfsr\Members\Redirection\franklinwaits\AppData\Roaming
rather than C:\Users\franklinwaits\AppData\Roaming). I may look into
submitting this issue to the devs.

Thanks for your help!
