[Qgis-user] Not able to add new feature

Please keep discussions to the list so others can learn from it.

In an earlier screenshot, it seemed you were exporting to a layer definition file, but you should just write out a fresh shp file (using "Save Features As...").
Then you will have a new shp file on which you can add or rewrite/edit attributes and values.

The other screenshot, it looks like you checked the 'Update existing field', but you did not yet tell QGIS WHICH field was to be updated (in the dropdown below the checkbox): proablby DESV_D?
