[Qgis-user] “Merge Shapefiles to One"?

Hi Rick,

 

Some of the processing tools are not turned on by default. Head to Plugins, Manage and Install Plugins, and make sure the ‘Processing’ plugin is ticked and the see if it appears. The Merge Vector Layers should also do the same thing but you need to watch the field structures of the files.

Hello,

 

I’m brand new to QGIS and fairly new to GIS in general. I am using QGIS 3.22.3-Białowieża in Mac OS Monterey.

 

Question: I’m learning how to combine shapefiles, and every guide I’ve looked at says to go to Vector —> Data Management Tools —> Merge Shapefiles to One. However, there is no “Merge Shapefiles to One” option. Has this feature been renamed or removed? Are there other ways to merge shapefiles?
