[Qgis-user] query for Virtual Layer in relation to another layer

Hi Uwe and Jürgen,

my example is working on MS SQL Server, my main database platform. I should have mentioned that. Sorry for this.
Since I have no experience with virtual layers, I've learned something new, too. Thanks for the link, Jürgen.

Well, || is the standard syntax, but there are probably also databases that will take + to concatenate strings too.  It's SQLite:

14.2.5.2. Supported query language

The underlying engine uses SQLite and SpatiaLite to operate.
