[Qgis-user] Dataset

Hello Team
I am a new user in QGIS 1.7.4 and I need to see all the information that is behind the maps and not just the information that appears in the attribute table of each layer. I need the information that connects the layers for example the street name with the name of the building block. How can I export this dataset?
