<font face="Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif">I'm running 0.11.0-Metis on

Slackware 12.1 and am having a problem with the symbology when

displaying certain shapefiles.  It appears that when setting properties

(under the "Symbology" tab) using  "Legend type" = "unique value" and

the "classification field" is numeric, nothing is drawn to the screen. 

If this field is text instead, it works as expected.<br>

Here's a portion of the attribute table:<br>

    ID    CAT       LABEL   <br>

    0      999        LAND<br>

    1     1297       C. Mud<br>

If I choose "LABEL" in the classification field, then choose "Classify"

everything works.  If I choose "CAT" instead, I get a list of the

values and assigned colors in the "Layers Properties" dialog, but

nothing is drawn to the screen.<br>

Is this a bug, a feature, or am I doing something wrong?  <br>
