Hello Julio,<div><br></div><div>the file you sent is no "ordinary" KML. It is actually a WMS service. You can notice that when you open the kml in Google Earth. In the "places", the folders have a "folder network" symbol. Therefore, you don't think you can use that kml directly on QGIS.</div>

I don't know how it was produced. I got the file from a web with
environmental data from Mexico
(<a href="http://www.atmosfera.unam.mx/uniatmos/atlas/kml/" target="_blank">http://www.atmosfera.unam.mx/uniatmos/atlas/kml/</a>). I be able to
open and visualize the file on GoogleEarth but not on Qgis. The
error message is: G:/path/*kml is not a valid or recognized data
source.<br>
