I,d suggest two things to understand what's happening: <br>
First try starting QGIS from a terminal, and watch for errors when
you start the GRASS plugin and open a raster.<br>
Second, can you install GRASS on its own, and set it up it to use
the same GISDBASE directory as QGIS, then try to load the rasters in
GRASS to see what happens?<br>
